Our training program contains in our office and on-the-job instruction to prepare our superintendents to be highly skilled construction industry professionals. This concept is based on integrating the demands and technical aspects of managing a construction job site with a superintendent's career allowing us to create a managed environment that motivates, problem solves and resolves issues in real-time, resulting in successful projects.
The key to success in any construction loss prevention program is its actual implementation on the job site. Field supervision is the main mechanism by which the loss prevention policy and procedures are implemented. The attitude of individual workers toward the company loss prevention program is dependent upon the attitude of their supervisors. The foreman's actions in directing the work are the critical link in delivering success. If foremen are given clear responsibilities for job site safety, and are held accountable the likelihood of accidents will be reduced helping to achieve greater construction quality, productivity, and worker safety.
Foremen oversee their immediate crews providing the necessary guidance and training required for their assigned work scope task. This allows our company additional oversight with the different crews while working in and around the cooling tower.
Field craft and subcontractors are provided with a copy of the field safety handbook during the pre-employment orientation for the project. This allows field crafts to reference safe work practices throughout the course of construction work scopes.
Site Inspections – Field Safety Representatives are being continually dispatched to the project sites to determine the level of implementation of loss prevention procedures and to assess the practices and site conditions to determine that potential hazards are being safeguarded against and that no new hazards have developed. This includes verifying that personal protective equipment is being worn and used properly and that all other equipment is being properly used.
